The government of Saudi Arabia is distributing books and pamphlets across the United States in an effort to recruit American Muslims to an international struggle against Christians and Jews, the director of a religious freedom organization told the Senate Judiciary Committee Nov. 8

Three Christian girls have been beheaded and another badly injured as they walked to a Christian school in Indonesia
They were walking through a cocoa plantation near the city of Poso in central Sulawesi province when they were attacked.
This is an area that has a long history of religious violence between Muslims and Christians.

Australia's Howard Says Fanatical Islam Behind Terror (Update1)
Nov. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Australia's Prime Minister John Howard said ``perverted fanatical Islam'' is the common thread behind the threat of international terrorism. ``The utterances of people involved in terrorism all go back to their conception of jihad (holy war) and their desire to have some kind of Islamic caliphate, their desire to see the triumph of Islam over other religions,'' Howard told Radio 2UE in Sydney, ``That is a perversion of the religion.'' |

The regime of Egypt is again not surprising us with another ugly act by detaining Egyptian blogger/writer Nabeel Abdul Kareem (Abdolkarim) (21 years old)who has a blog under “Kareem Amer” in Arabic.
The Egyptian Copts in the US have protested in front of the UN headquarters calling for the release of the Egyptian blogger. Egyptian bloggers of different backgrounds who are agreeing and disagreeing with Abdolkarim launched a campaign to defend freedom of expression.

President Mubarak allows the church to fix its toilet
Thanks to president Mubarak for keeping his promise, to regard Egyptians as equal regardless of their religious backgrounds, On September 25, 2005 , and according to Watani Egyptian newspaper, a presidential decree number 316/2005 was issued by president Mubarak to license restoration works and repair of toilets at the Brethren’s Evangelical church in Beba, Beni Suef province, Upper Egypt.
