Does The American Embassy In Cairo Discriminate Against Coptic Christians?

If you are a Coptic Christian, try to apply for a visa at the American Embassy in Cairo, once you pass through the gate, you will feel as if you are inside a mosque in Afghanistan. Posters of "Islam is a religions of Peace", "Islam means peace", "The life of Muslims in the US", "Islam is the fastest growing religion in the US", in addition to images of American mosques are posted everywhere in the American embassy in Cairo.

Detaining Egyptian Blogger who witnessed the riot againist the church

medium_free_amr.jpgThe regime of Egypt is again not surprising us with another ugly act by detaining Egyptian blogger/writer Nabeel Abdul Kareem (Abdolkarim) (21 years old)who has a blog under “Kareem Amer” in Arabic.

The Egyptian Copts in the US have protested in front of the UN headquarters calling for the release of the Egyptian blogger. Egyptian bloggers of different backgrounds who are agreeing and disagreeing with Abdolkarim launched a campaign to defend freedom of expression.

United States Helsinki Commission

President Mubarak allows the church to fix its toilet

medium_mubarek.jpgThanks to president Mubarak for keeping his promise, to regard Egyptians as equal regardless of their religious backgrounds, On September 25, 2005 , and according to Watani Egyptian newspaper, a presidential decree number 316/2005 was issued by president Mubarak to license restoration works and repair of toilets at the Brethren’s Evangelical church in Beba, Beni Suef province, Upper Egypt.

Just a Dream

That thousands of christians all over the world, in 15 different countries
They went on protest
They protested the injustice and killing of there christian brothers in the islamic countries
They protested the insult of their holy book "the bible"
They protested and protested for days
and suddenly, i woke up .... with no hope ....

Latest News 10-29-05

 1)  The pope was told to stay in the monestary by the Egyptian authority for his safty.  Basically he is in exile "Again" wether he likes it or not. we are getting punished as christian for what happened on Friday October 21st, 2005. The church had to come up with this statment for the pope's sake. 
2)  a member of Alexandria Assembly of God Church said that it took them 40 years of prayers to get a permit for the church's remodeling. [side note: Christian churches must get the president signature to do any construction for any church in Egypt.  That is the Egyptian Law.]
3) After the destruction of the church, the government did not offer any help.
4) The fear stopped the people to pray in the church up until now. ( We will post church grang opening before it was destructed .... You can watch what happened to the church here]
