Saudi Has The Right Idea--Why The Use of Sexual Assault as a Coercive "Tool" Should Result in Mandatory Castration

medium_sharia.jpgAm I the only one to think that using sex as a weapon is morally wrong? The profusion of articles and blog postings about the Eid Fiasco would prove that others do care, but caring isn't enough.
 (An op-ed by Sara Ghorab.)

So. THIS GUY says that raped women asked for it if they weren't covered up.

Then THIS blog makes neqab into a form of sex object (very interesting article, BTW), then THIS and THIS and THIS and even THIS blog each cover the ridiculous Eid el Fitr gang groping in Cairo.

This, a little over a year after Rabab al-Mahdi and other ladies were Sexually Assaulted by Egypt's finest.

This is to say nothing about the KIDNAPPINGS and Deliberate and Religiously-Motivated Seductions that has Egypt making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

(This is to say nothing about the ABSURD PUNISHMENTS that are lavished upon those that speak against Islam, but that's another story.)

Am I the only one to think that using sex as a weapon is morally wrong? The profusion of articles and blog postings about the Eid Fiasco would prove that others do care, but caring isn't enough.

Apart from the fact that State Security don't care enough to protect their countrymen (or women, as the case may be), I really disagree with the whole "three strikes and yer outta there" business.

Why not make a sexual assault automatically carry a penalty of, say, castration with a dull knife?

I PROMISE that this will end the things happening in Egypt. For one, people will know that they can't get away with anything. For two, there wouldn't be even one repeat offender.

And if castration didn't do the trick, Egypt could always pull a Saudi A. and BOBBIT-IZE the offending, um, member of society.

Saudi Arabia is not the only place Muslim men are using rape as a weapon. Muslim men who come to the US have been known to rape women in the towns where they live.
There is something in the Sharia Law that says the child is the same religion as the father no matter what the mother's religion is. It's one of the ways several sheiks have condoned "making jihad on America".

Rape statistics
In the United States, a rape is reported about once every five minutes.
FBI Uniform Crime Report, 1997
Rape is called "the most underreported violent crime in America." In a large national survey of American women, only 16% of the rapes (approximately one out of every six) had ever been reported to the police.
Rape in America: A Report to the Nation, National Victim Center, 1992
In a study conducted by the Department of Justice and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, researchers interviewed 8,000 women and 8,000 men. Using a definition of rape that includes forced vaginal, oral, and anal intercourse, the survey found that 1 in 6 women had experienced an attempted rape or a completed rape.
At the time they were raped:
22% were under the age of twelve
54% were under the age of eighteen
83% were under the age of twenty-five
Prevalence, Incidence, and Consequences of Violence Against Women,
Department of Justice, 1998
In the Rape in America study, 60% of the women who reported being raped were under 18 years old:
29.3% were less than 11 years old
32.3% were between 11 and 17
22.2% were between 18 and 24
7.1% were between 25 and 29
6.1% were older than 29
3.0% age was not available

National Victim Center, 1992
Acquaintance rape is much more prevalent than stranger rape. In a study published by the Department of Justice, 82% of the victims were raped by someone they knew (acquaintance/friend, intimate, relative) and 18% were raped by a stranger.
From a report on Violence Against Women based on data from the National Crime Victimization Survey, Bureau of Justice Statistics, 1995

In the Rape in America study, 80% of the girls and women who were raped were victimized by someone they knew.
Rape in America: A Report to the Nation
National Victim Center, 1992

Many surveys have been conducted to determine the prevalence and incidence of rape and sexual assault. The differences in findings across these various surveys are related to how rape and sexual assault are defined, characteristics of the sample selected for study, screening questions, interviewer training and techniques, and other methodological and procedural issues. However, in virtually every victimization survey conducted, the number of unreported rapes and sexual assaults far exceeds those that are reported to authorities.

(Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NAB)

If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.

What kind of lunatic would make a rape victim marry her attacker? Answer: The Christian god.

More Raping And Killing
"Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished." (Isaiah 13:15-16)

Mohammed married a 9 year old girl.

"Narrated Aisha that the prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old." Vol. 7:64 THATS WHAT YOU CALL RAPE....

When the Quranic verse that allows Mohammed to postpone the turn of any wife was revealed, and when Mohammed said that Allah allowed him to marry his adopted son's wife, Aisha (one of his wives) told him, "O Allah's Apostle I do not see but that your Lord hurries in pleasing you. Child marriage did not originate with Muhammad pbuh. The Christians jews and pagans used to marry young children long before the Prophet Muhammad existed. However christians prefer little boys these days and jews can't get hard.

There is not one verse from the bible shows us what is the appropriate age for marriage. Simply there is nothing from the Old Testament nor the New Testament or any thing regarding this issue define the appropriate age for marriage. So you do not have the moral fortitude to judge what Christians, Jews, Hindus's and Muslims did 1500 years ago.
