ROAD UPGRADING: SELANGOR PERKIM CHAIRMAN CHARGED WITH RM3.7 MILLION CBT

Datuk Dr Ariffin, the former International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) Deputy Director was charged with two other Perkim members, Baharin Baba, 58, and Abas Adam, 60.

The money was to be used for a road upgrading project between Subang Airport and Sungai Buloh Hospital nine years ago.

The trio allegedly committed the offence between April 1st, 2002 and April 22nd, 2004 at the Perkim branch office in Damansara Utama.

Judge Asmadi Hussin allowed bail of RM10,000 each for all the accused and fixed January 27 for remention.
