UPDATE: Man charged after attacks in Slough.

Abductions_TrelawneyAve.jpgA 22-year-old man has been charged after a series of attacks on a woman and three schoolgirls.

Mushtaq Javed from Slough has been charged with grievous bodily harm and three counts of false imprisonment.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at East Berkshire Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (12/7).

Police arrested him on Thursday morning after the series of incidents in the Langley area earlier that day.

They were called out at 7.44am after a 49-year-old woman was assaulted in a property in Meadfield Road and suffered a cut to her head believed to have been inflicted with a knife. She has since been discharged from Wexham Park Hospital.

A 15-year-old girl was assaulted by a man who tried to drag her into a front garden as she walked to school along Trelawney Avenue.

Around ten minutes later an 11-year-old schoolgirl was grabbed by a man in the same road.

Both girls managed to escape uninjured after the attacker was disturbed by passers-by and ran off.

Police also received a report of a 13-year-old girl being approached and verbally threatened by a man in Cockett Road, Langley, which they believe is linked to the other attacks.
