Student nurse rape case: Two arrested, three missing
JAIPUR: The Bundi Police have arrested two persons for the abduction and gangrape of a student nurse in a jungle near Phoolsagar Road on Sunday
Police teams have been sent to adjoining areas to nab three other persons.
On Sunday, a 19-year-old student nurse was allegedly abducted and gangraped by unidentified youths when she had gone on a trip with her boyfriend Rajendra Yadav in Dabalana area on Saturday. The incident took place when the victim, who is a student of a private nursing college in Bundi and a resident of Kota, and her boyfriend were sitting at a secluded place below TV tower on Phoolsagar road.
The victim said two youths arrived there in a jeep, beat up Rajendra and forcibly took her to a nearby forest and raped her. She also informed police that rapists were also joined by three other youths, who reached the spot on a motorcycle. After raping her, one of the accused took her on his motorcycle and left her on the Jaipur-Kota National Highway.
ASP Bundi, NL Pavan, said two of the accused identified as Dildar Khan and Islam have been arrested from the adjoining Talab village and efforts are on to nab three other persons. "The medical report of victim has confirmed the rape charges," he said. He said police are also interrogating Rajendra to inquire about possibility of his connection with the accused persons. driver reported the matter to police.
