Sweden: The best Muslim state
The best Islamic state is Sweden!" says local politician and imam Adly Abu Hajal (Moderate Party). All the important, basic principles are here.
As an imam he can write a letter to concerned parents who don't want their child to sleep with somebody before marriage.
"I call it to be boyfriend and girlfriend in the Muslim way," he says.
They promise to marry each other and the parents can breath freely. If the couple changes their mind, there's nothing more to it. They simply end it.
The moderate politician from Palestine lives in a little brick house in Fosie. He adopts Sharia - laws to solve relations disputes. Adly Abu Hajal is convinced that Western liberalism is the best basis for free religious expression. Therefor he adopts his role as an imam when people's religious interpretations clash with reality.
Personally he thinks that Islam should be interpreted in a modern way and in accordance with the laws in force where one is.
Sharia laws have a bad reputation in Scandinavia. They are often associated with fundamentalist Islamist, who by enforcing Sharia laws want to create a strictly religious society.
But everything depends on how they're interpreted, according to Adly Abu Hajal. He sees no problem with combining Swedish laws and regulations with Islam.
"Shariah has three levels. Personal, familial and general. The general law must apply to everybody, therefore Swedish law is Shariah in Sweden. If one doesn't agree with them, then go ahead - fight! Everybody has a right to try to push through legal changes."
- You say that the best country for Islam is Sweden, but as a moderate how do you see a country so characterized by social democracy?
"I'm a liberal conservative. Not completely conservative and not completely liberal. Moreover, I put a lot of emphasis on social issues, so one can say that I'm in the middle."
Adly Abu Hajal's work as an imam focused first and foremost on divorce issues. Few imams decide to the woman's advantage, so they come to him. When a couple who married in a Muslim way later divorces in Sweden, the court rules that the divorce is a fact. The court doesn't care whether the Muslim couple drew up a contract when they got married.
The contract includes an agreement about a sum of money or a gift which would be paid out to the woman if the couple divorces. Therefore the man isn't always particularly interested in divorcing in the Muslim way, despite the court's decision being final.
As long as there's no certificate from an imam about the divorce, no money needs to be paid out, but the woman can't get married and there's a number of other problems in the contact with the homeland and within one's own network in Sweden.
Adly Abu Hajal shows a large collection of binders in his bookcase from twenty year's work with similar cases. These are documents from hundreds of disputes archived together with letters from the police, social service and private people from all over Sweden who contacted him for help. The problem is, in other words, well known.
Björn Serrander, a judge at the Malmö district court, thinks it's well known that Muslim divorces need to go through a double process, but he doesn't see a problem with it.
Should the court review this? As far as he knows, there's no discussion on this issue.

Hi,i looked up for definition of Monotheism in most dicshioneries,i have to admit Sura Ikhlas in four lines delivers the
ultimate answer. may be some one else can come up with 4 better lines than the one below as non muslims believe that Quran is not the word of Allah ,and Mohammad is the author

It seems that your quran doesn't know what monotheism is or who is the God. definitely the allah of the quran is anything but the One True God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.The question is: Is this allah a loving Father that you can have a communion with or is he the mythical allah of islam that is untouchable. Is he God the Redeemer who offers you salvation from sin and death or the fake allah who can neither benefit nor harm you. Is he the God of love and redemption or the allah of hatred and murder. is he the God of loving your enemies and prayer for those who persecute you and harm you, or is he the bloodmonger allah of incitation to kill the infidels wherever you find them according to surat al touba the fifth verse. IS he the God of " Father forgive them because they know not what they do, or is he the allah of fighting the infidels wherever you find them showing them no mercy according to surate al touba verse 89. IS he the God of purity who said whoever sees a women to covet her had committed adultery with her or is he the allah of sleeping with the women whom he has under his possession according to surate al roum verse 28, surate al al nissa' verse 25, surate al ahzab verses 50 and 52. is he the GOD who said 'I am the way, the truth and The life' who raised the dead , calmed the storm, created eyes for the man born blind, healed the paralytics cured the lepers and then rose for the dead by the power of his Divinity ,or he is the allah whose prophet could do nothing but mutilate and decapitate and torture the people in the most horrible way as he had done with the people of Oukl according to narrative of al bukhari, also in the assassination of al hallaj, the assassination of ibn al zubayr at mecca, even women had been assassinated by him like the horrible stabbing of Asma bent marawan as she was nursing her baby, and the killing of hind bent beniamin. Is he the God of comfort, guidance and discernment or is he the allah whose false prophet didn't even know at the beginnig if what had appeared to him was an angel or the devil to the extent that he went to his first wife khadija to ask her advice. Is he the God who healing those who were possessed by demons or is he the fake allah whose prophet was demon possessed. Is he the God who taught us the purity of one husband or wife for life or is the sexmonger allah who gave the permission to have four wives coupled with the permission to divorce them and marry another four wives etc. Is he the God of chastity who ordered us to flee from sexual immorality or is he the allah of sex, the allah of the marriage of enjoyment where a man and a woman agree to sleep together for a certain period out of necessity and after that each one of them should go his way. there is also the el orfi marriage where the two marry without registering with the state , and the el Messiyar marriage etc. needless to say that all these kinds of marriages are just fornication and adultery in the name of marriage. Is he the God who forgives sin and grant the eternal life in the paradise of joy to enjoy what no eye has seen nor ear has heard of the Lord had prepared for those who love him and serve him , the Kingdom of Heaven where people neither marry nor are they given in marriage as they live like angels of God, or is he the pervert allah whose paradise is full of Houriyat(exquisitely beautiful virgins) whom when one of the mujahdeen sleeps with in heaven will return virgins again according to surate al Nissa' verse 57, surate al rahman verses 46-78 etc., the paradise of allah also is full el gholman(certain charming young lads for extreme enjoyment by al moemeneen(faithful) in the janna(paradise of allah), the paradise is also full of rivers of wine and milk according to surate mohamed verse 15. At the end I'll have to tell you akhter that this allah of your has failed miserably in the test as it can be anything but the one True God. On the other hand I invite you and everybody else to come to the one True God the Father(Creator), the Son(Redeemer)and the Holy Spirit(comforter) One God forever and ever amen, as the Father is the being eternally existing, The Son is the Eternal wisdom( the Logos)eternally existing and the Holy Spirit the eternal Spirit of God, completely one God unto the age of all ages. I find all the nordic countries to be very tolerant. Dont know if Sweden is the "best", but really their policies are most open?
