I'm glad something is being done to stand up against the Islamic persecution & slaughter of Christians. While we must be realistic that the United Nations organization is internally corrupt & won't do anything to help, at least the demonstration will provide more public information as to what is happening in the world while the west sleeps (yes, I am very ashamed of the way the United States has been a sell-out against the very God & religion that gave this country its greatness). May you all be blessed in the Name of Christ Jesus in this venture, and we will pray for you on that day.

For sure what happened in Alexandria, make us really mad at what happened, there should be something we could do,
Muslims & Christians are living in Egypt for 1000s of years,
I am Muslim & have lot of Christian friends, we don't hate each other, we been friends since childhood, I think some forces are playing with the minds of un-educated Muslims & Christians.

Dear Ahmad,
I totally agree that some forces have a rule in this
But if we always blame the outer forces and use the consipracy theory as our escape goat, we will never get any results

I know that a lot of muslims don't beleive it, they in shock same as we, but the hateriet is growing in egypt

and nobody does anything to stop it, especially the government

Plus the % of undecuated people or half eduacted is growing

Now any man in the street can claim he is doing god's work by attacking a church
it is no longer an organized terror only, it became an individual acts as well

so we in the midst of political/ religious and economical problems ...

I pray for god to bring egypt home safe
40 yrs ago we didn't have anything about this crazy hateriet

I am a muslim and of course as many other egyptians condemn attacking christian churches. This is absurd. Tension is growing in the middle east. America is fighting a false war. Muslims are starting to belive in CHristians doing a crusade on Islam. This is my interpretation on current events. So they go agains the churches in Egypt..of course Egyptian Christians have nothing to do with the matter.. but what can we say... its all been inflamed by America and Israel.. And i doubt Christians live in peace in Israel .. they are facing the same problems as muslims over there. Its time to stand with us not against us.. just bcos we are a majority doesnt mean u r defeated.. God bless Egypt ..christians , muslims and all.

Sharif, I respectfully disagree with you about saying that America & Israel are inflaming the situation. I am sure you know that the stated goal of Islam -- according to the teachings of the Qur'an -- is the ultimate conversion of the entire world to Islam. That is what Muhammad taught, and anyone who does not want to become Muslim is to be executed ("kill all the infidels wherever you find them"). Additionally, it was Usama bin Laden & his merry band of lunatic fundamentalists who decided to hijack jet planes & fly them into the towers of New York -- we did absolutely nothing to provoke such a murderous, cowardly act. I say "cowardly" because the Muslim fundamentalists claim to be fighting a "holy jihad" on behalf of "Allah" -- yet they won't put on the uniform of a soldier and fight openly like brave warrior men. If someone honestly believes he is fighting a war on behalf of God, one would think he would go out proudly & bravely ... like a man, in other words. Only COWARDS dress in civilian clothing so they can melt away easily into the crowds, use innocent civilians as human shields, strap on explosives and kill unsuspecting students or travelers on a bus, and conceal their faces with masks so no one can identify them. If I were fighting on behalf of GOD'S Cause, I would proudly show my face. It doesn't take any courage at all to strap on a bomb and blow oneself up in the middle of innocent civilians or college students who have nothing to do with 'the cause' and instructing liittle children how to hate "Zionists" and Americans and teaching them that dying in jihad is the ultimate goal of their lives when they become adults shows an appalling lack of nurturing or protection of these little ones (who could be the peacemakers of tomorrow without the brainwashing they get before they even reach the first grade). Why would a culture teach their little ones to hate and kill instead of trying to ensure they have a better life than the mindset of violence & death that currently prevails in the Islamic countries? I don't understand that at all, nor do I pretend to comprehend what is going on with radical Muslims. As for the United States, I will not say that this nation is perfect or beyond reproach because it is NOT. I vehemently despise the way this country has removed GOD from public view and the rampant materialism, selfishness, and corruption that have surely followed since prayer was banned from the public schools 40 years ago (and now the ACLU & other crackpot communist organizations file numerous lawsuits any chance they get to remove all traces of Christianity & our Lord Jesus Christ from any public view). I'm not entirely clear as to the real motive of this country for being in Iraq, either, but at least I live in a nation that I can freely criticize the government without worrying about being beheaded or tortured or anything like that. So, yes, I have some real problems with a lot my country has done.

However, I will also say that Israel has a right to exist, and the heritage of the Israelites traces all the way back to the days of Abraham. GOD promised that land to Israel, but the Muslims began to "muscle in" on that land once they saw that the previously 'worthless' land Israel was given back in 1948 began to prosper. Israel has tried to make peace but Muslims won't be happy until they have destroyed Israel totally and conquered all of the Middle East. The Middle East is unstable and torn apart by nonstop violence because of the work of Islamic fundamentalists, not because of Israel (yes, Israel has some radical factions, too, but -- by & large -- it has always been the Muslims who either refuse peace or break any peace treaty they may have previously signed). Read some books by people who were once Muslims but decided to convert because they knew only fear & inconsistencies in Islam (try Reza F. Safa, for example). From the descriptions of hell listed in the Qur'an & the uncertainty of never knowing whether or not Allah has accepted me until I stand on that unstable bridge in my attempt to cross over to Paradise, I would live in fear if Islam was my belief system, too! The tortures described by Islam are enough to give anyone nightmares, and the only sure way to get into Paradise is to die in jihad -- then the men are promised nonstop sexual gratification with 72 large-eyed, large-breasted virgins for all of eternity! Anyone who truly reflects on the Eternal GOD and the joy of entering into Spiritual Perfection with Him would know that such a carnal situation would be out of place in Paradise (I'm also curious as to what Allah has promised for the Muslim women, for the thought of 72 virgins would not be appealing to them).

In the Book of Genesis, GOD does tell Abraham that Ishmael will be a great nation -- and that Promise has come true by virtue of the powerful Muslim population in many countries. However, He also told Abraham that His Covenant was with Isaac (the Israelites) and anyone who is the enemy of Israel makes himself the enemy of GOD, Himself. We will know at some point in the future when events play themselves out, won't we? Israel has made some concessions they shouldn't have made for the sake of peace with their Muslim brothers, but it is never enough to please them. Israel has the GOD-given right to exist as a free nation without having to worry about crazed suicide bombers coming in & blowing up its civilians.

The way I see it, the United States & Israel have not done anything to inflame the instability in the Middle East -- instead, we have the insurgents from other Muslim countries coming into Iraq to maim & kill with video messages of UBL and other Al Qaeda members to urge them on to even more violence. Now we have Iran making threats and boldly spoiling for a fight with Ahmadinejad's obnoxious remarks. The only thing the USA & Israel can do is react with countermeasures to the violence perpetrated against us.

The 'honor' of constant inflammation, violence, & bloodshed belongs solely to the Muslim fundamentalists, Sharif. They call us Christians "crusaders" as their way to justify their actions -- the fact that they have to reach all the way back and slap us with a label from the dark ages shows they are pretty hard up and have no present day complaints against us. To call Christians "crusaders" is pretty flimsy & desperate, wouldn't you say?

However, it breaks my heart to see this, for Ishmael was also Abraham's son and the Muslims and Israelites are brothers according to their bloodlines. It is my most heartfelt prayer that GOD will intervene in a way to bring the two sons of Abraham together as brothers the way it should be -- you both are great nations with a fascinating heritage in your own right and how great it would be if we could all live together in brotherly love & peace and learn from another's heritage. Above all, Sharif, that's what I would love to see, and I won't stop praying for it to happen with our GOD of All Miracles.

Thank you for your respectful response. You are a living example of Arab Muslim non - compulsion (that is if you are arab Christian) . Mohamed did not teach us to kill If you do not believe. It is stated in The Quran ..La Ikrah fel deen..There is no compulsion in religion..It is you and people who lean towards thinking like that who ruke out Muslims as conquerors or Brutal people. This wont end. You see?
Tell me honestly. Have you read the Quran? Where is it that you read attack the ones who do not believe you? I challenge you to bring out the verse. Come on my friend, have some sense. I am a muslim who is part of the "Daawa to Allah"..invitation to Allah..and I follow the teachings of Mohamed..never have I been taught to be violent ..except walahe in Allahs name be respectful and kind and well mannered. If Christians, Jews and Muslims lived together During Mihamed (pbuh) then Im sure there was peace in Islam.

Furthermore, Israel and Jews. Jews in the past were the chosen people. Hencce the prophets came from their lineage. When other prophets came out of their lineage, they became disbelieveing and began to kill prophets ( talk about Islamic non tolerance) ..even in your religion my brother... You say they killed Jesus..we say they tried to kill but he was saved by Allah

Allah of course after all the Jews doings punished them. They did not have a stable place to live. Today of course we are in the 21st century and we must tend to change. I believe jews should have a country. but tell me,..what do muslims have to with Hitler totruring them and killing them? What do muslims have to do with Christian Germans ? Explain that to me. Why must we pay for that? Isnt it sensible and just that they get paid back from the German atrocitites? The answer is no. Palestine and Islam must pay. Palestinians are being butchered and deprived of human rights ..poverty is everywhere and yet you brother stand there and take the chance to take that one punch at Islam ...instead of helping the people youve been raised up with ... you and your ancestors...

I say this of course with all respect and understanding ..I have christian brothers in Egypt. And you will not change my course...

Furthermore..choose you not to be Muslim is totally your decision..Why would Allah accept you as a muslim forcibly? My friend, do not speak of what you do not know.

One more note, I live in the U.S..I was born here and lived also in Egypt for 20 yrs. HEre, they have TV shows for Christians calling Muslims the enemy... and that they should be fought. Doesnt this seem to be a Crusade?

Thank you for your time.

Sharif.

One begs the question how one can compare for Christians calling on their brothers to defend themselves against the crimes of muslims towards what muslims do to Christians on a daily basis in the middle east and the rest of asia. No one cares what a book like the koran says, everyone should look at the actions of individuals and groups, whether you like it or not and you still dont accept it is that 95% of Terrorism are undertaken by muslims. Hide behind your so called holy book, use political words like "condemnation" and "moderates", it doesnt matter to me or any true Christian, the actions speak louder than words. We have yet to see it from the so called moderates.

well mr Joseph..It seems you have a one tracked mind going to one destination. Let me not argue with you any further. Good luck with your struggle.
I respect you by not calling your bible words such as you have said about my koran.

Respect will get us through. Remmeber that clearly.
