Kidnapping of underage Coptic girls continue
And still the Kidnapping of underage Coptic girls continue right in front of the Egyptian security police. The security police always neglect and participate in these operations, but this time it is different.
Who are the girls?
In Nagaa Hamadi and at 9:00 a.m., Marcel Samuel Kediss Beshara and Mary
Assad Garas, two underage Coptic girls were kidnapped on their way to their high school.
Kidnapped
When speaking on the phone with Mr. Agaybee Adly the first girl’s uncle who volunteered to speak on behalf of the kidnapped girl’s mom that suffers emotional break down and couldn’t speak after the incident.
Mr. Agaybee assured that on Wednesday, the girl was on her way to school with her colleague , and suppose to go to her grandmother after school, but she was kidnapped and her colleague in the street that proves severe security disorder.
Police complicity
Both girls’ families went to father bishop Kirolous of Nagaa Hamadi who exerted his efforts to help them but felt a negligence and procrastination from the police. So he advised the families to file a kidnapping police report on Friday. He added that the two girls are known for their good manners and reputations in the whole city, they are in high school, and that their families are living in sadness since there was no response from the police or the higher authority in the city.
They are praying to God for a solution to this problem.
He also added that he is going to all human rights organizations inside Egypt and abroad to get them involve and help solving this problem, so the kidnapping of teenager from their homes would stop.
Father Bishop Kirolous of Nagaa Hamadi accused the police of their carelessness; they don’t want to move unless we push them to do so. In the beginning of the maneuver, the police required the girls’ parents to file the report, since the report i filed was not enough he said.
The parents filed the police report accusing Mohamed El Maghriby and Ahmed but the police called them and released them.
The Bishop added that a month ago, the security sluggish in an incident of a Christian lady, adding that Abd El Reheem El Ghoul who controls the security police with his money and the weak governor with his authority is behind all these disasters.
Coptic Christians make up at least 10 percent of the Egyptian population. While it is illegal for Egypt’s Muslims to convert to Christianity, "kidnap conversions" to Islam have long been the subject of debate in the country.
