Allah is an Idiot! Here's Why...
This is a hadith, which I have known about for some time. When I was a believer it helped to confirm my faith in Muhammad. Now that my eyes are opened, I see it in a different light. Here is one variation of the hadith:
Narrated Anas: Allah's Apostle was delivering the Khutba (sermon) on a Friday when the people stood up, shouted and said, "O Allah's Apostle! There is no rain (drought), the trees have dried and the livestock are destroyed; Please pray to Allah for rain." So Allah's Apostle said twice, "O Allah! Bless us with rain." By Allah, there was no trace of cloud in the sky and suddenly the sky became overcast with clouds and it started raining.
The Prophet came down the pulpit and offered the prayer. When he came back from the prayer (to his house) it was raining and it rained continuously till the next Friday. When the Prophet started delivering the Friday Khutba (sermon), the people started shouting and said to him, "The houses have collapsed and the roads are cut off; so please pray to Allah to withhold the rain." So the Prophet smiled and said, "O Allah! Round about us and not on us." So the sky became clear over Medina but it kept on raining over the outskirts (of Medina) and not a single drop of rain fell over Medina. I looked towards the sky, which was as bright and clear as a crown. (Sahih al-Bukhari. Volume 2, Book 17, Number 134) Now Muslims, you are faced with two terrible choices. 1. Admit that Allah is an idiot - or 2. Admit that this "miracle" probably didn't happen. "How can you say Allah is an idiot?" I hear you scream. Because Allah didn't know when to make the rain stop. The people asked Muhammad for rain to IMPROVE their situation. Muhammad prays - Allah responds. The people say "Alhamdulillah!" Instead of improving their situation, Allah makes their lives worse (and probably had a good chuckle to himself)! In another narration, the man says that the livestock have been killed. You can find all the various narrations from Bukhari here Well-done Allah! You are Al-Rahman, Al-Raheem! Allah needed Muhammad to ask him to stop before He was going to stop. He obviously didn't care that He was making those poor people's lives a misery (after they had asked him for good), or He didn't KNOW what was happening until Muhammad asked him to stop it. So there's a few more choices there for you: 1. Allah is an idiot. 2. Allah torments those who ask him for good, or 3. Allah is not Al-'Aleem (All-Knowing).Of course, the final choice is that this "miracle" didn't actually happen. So whatever love and faith this hadith once gave you for Muhammad, I would suggest replacing it with something else. Whatever faith you have in the collection of al-Bukhari may also have to be reconsidered. There shall be more to come, inshallah

I really find it offensive that you are calling Allah an indiot. I would like to inform you that your comments are juvenile and not very Christian. Did you ever realize what Allah means and stands for. Allah means GOD, Muslims and Christians of Middle eastern countries and Pakistan use the term Allah to refer to GOD. There is only one GOD and yes he may have different names...all of which should be honored.

While I agree respect should be given to everyone's religion. Christopher you don't speak for all Christians.
As a Christian and probably like most people on this blog I disagree with you that Muslims and Christians pray to the same God. Of course "Allah" means "god" in Arabic but the God that I pray to is a Triune God that consists of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is not the Arabic/Muslim "Allah".

Doesn't word "ilah" mean god in arabic?
In Quran and in shahada "ilah" means god, and Allah is the NAME of god of muslims (whose origins are in pre-islamic pagan arab religion beliefs):
Here's a text of shahada (islamic creed):
لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول ال
La ilaha il Allah, Muhammad -ur-Rasool-Allah
So, as you see from the transliteration above - it is "ilah", which means god.

As a former muslim, I can trully say that the allah of the quran is an evil god, better known as satan. Clearly muhhammad is satan's prophet, the evil that islam commits, honr killings, slaughyter of children (Chechnya), Genocide (Armenia and Sudan), flying planes into building, sharia law 9 stonin women to death) is evil in its purest form. Surely, this is not the work of God, surely this is the work of Satan.

I am really shocked by some of the comments which some of you so called Christians and pretending to have been Muslim 1na be hypocrites are making. But it is not unusua,l for when a people go astray to far out of ignorance and hate, they will no longer see evil as evil but rather evil as good. But we must all be patient especially my fellow Muslims because the bounties and mercy of Allah (the correct name for GOD) are open to all in this life (for he is the all beneficent), the grateful and the ungrateful. In the next life however his mercy will be selective only to those who were grateful unto their lord in this life. The name of God in whatever language it may be commands respect and honour. Messengers throughout the ages have been sent down to all nations on earth in their own languages and these peoples have had different names of honour for God which may be different to those names by which Jews, Christians and Muslims call out to God. However what ever the honourable name it should be respected. From the comments above posted by so called followers of the prophet Jesus (peace be upon him), but rather nothing more than the followers of priests who changed their religion to suit their desires and lusts, I realise how declined Christians have become. May Allah curse all those who dishonour his name and misinterpret Islam through hate, insincerity and out of pure ignorance. You so called Christians should really try to read the past and present bloodied history of your fellow Christians and the so called Christian world. no wonder why 99% of Christians see their religion as nothing but a joke hence some of the above evil comments by some good Christians namely the egypter who in his first sentence says that he agrees that the name of God should be insulted because it is not in the language that he is used to calling God by. no wonder FOOLS LIKE JASSASSAH talk the way they do.

Yes. Mr. Azad salahdin kurdi you are typical muslim - unaware of brutality, cruelty of the founder of your hateful religion. Muhammad was a criminal not a prophet. He was a pedophile, murderer, rapist, liar, he raided cities and caravans and so on. No god (and especially One True GOD (JHWH - it is his Name for eternity, he said it)) would choose such a man for his prophet.
You are also wrong when you associate bloody history with christianity. Have you EVER, i mean EVER, read what Jesus Christ (Jahshua the Messiah) taught? Most important of his teachings are:
- Love thy GOD (JHWH) and thy brothers (and sisters)
- Love thy enemies, bless them, pray for them
- Do not resist evil doers, leave them for the judgement day
- Do not judge others, remember that you're also a sinner
- be tollerant
and many more
This are the sound teachings. They are beutifully simple, yet profoundly righteous.
If somebody's doing anything against these Jesus' teachings he/she IS NOT a christian and never have been annointed by the Sprit of God, never knew Jesus. Period.
Muhammad wasn't a prophet of One True God , because (apart from being a sinister MONSTER) he taught:
-hate for ubelivers (kafirs)
-killing pagans and apostates
-persecuting Jews and Christians (dhimmitude)
-cursing in the name of allah
-fighting, war, lies, deception in the name of Islam
Face it - your "prophet" was a very evil man. He made religion by distorting Bible and Talmud teachings of his Jew neighbours and New Testament (Covenant) of Nestorian Christians (sect of Christians, who reject bodily resurection of Christ - from them Muhammad took his distorted views on Christianity). He was just a evil, greedy man, wanting power and sex and using a religion for his purposes.
You don't have to prove me, that Muhammad was a prophet, just prove that he wasn't a MONSTER and we could talk about religion and God.
