Christians in Egypt murdered for failing to pay the jizya (Islamic tax on non-Muslims)

1992.pngQuran 9:29: Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger and those who acknowledge not the religion of

truth (i.e. Islam) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

The jizya is a tax that the Koran (9:29) specifies must be levied on Jews, Christians, and some other non-Muslim faiths as a sign of their subjugation under the Islamic social order. The jizya — as old as Islam itself. It’s like the protection racket. Muslims collecting  “protection” money from whom? From Jews and Christians, of course.

The jizya financed the imperialistic expansion of Islam. The Islamic world’s war campaigns were financed by the jizya.  It was only after they had sucked their non-Muslim populations dry that the Islamic world began to falter and suffer much-deserved losses.

Muhammad very clearly established that people of other religions have to pay a poll tax to Muslims called the jizya as a reminder of their inferior status.  This abrogates an earlier verse stating that there is “no compulsion in religion” and destroys any pretense that Islam is merely a religion and not a political system. Al-Shamiya Christians murdered for failure to pay extortion,” Middle East Christian News, January 23, 2014

Christians in Al-Shamiya village in Assiut are subjected to constant threats, and are threatened with death unless they can pay at least 20 thousand pounds in jizya extortion payments.

The institution of dhimmitude:

The vanquished non-Muslims peoples are granted security for their life and possessions, as well as a relative self-autonomous administration and limited religious rights according to the modalities of the conquest. These rights are subject to two conditions: the payment of a poll tax (the jizya) and submission to the provisions of Islamic law
