European aid workers kidnapped in Algeria
Three European aid workers – two Spanish and an Italian – at a refugee camp in western Algeria have been kidnapped by suspected al-Qaeda-linked separatist militants.

Egyptian jailed over 'insulting' Facebook posts
An Egyptian court has sentenced a man to three years in jail with hard labour for insulting Islam in postings on Facebook, the official MENA news agency reported.
