Christians Under Attack

Please disregard my pathetic attempt at translating the below quoted article.  I'm telling you, this is just too bizarre for words.  The subject matter is actually a hundred times worse than what I made out of it....ughh I know I probably should be laughing about it, but it makes me sick to my stomach.

What the right dishonourable twat issued his fatwa that should a woman share an office with a male colleague, which is haram (verboten, forgetaboutit, nowayjosé, gostraighttohellanddonotpassgo), as unmarried males and females should not mix, she must be accompanied with a chaperon, or she should breast feed that adult male five times in order for their unchaperoned existence together be Islamically lawful, halal!

I really had to read this three times to make sense of it! I still don't get it, but here it is. It's hilarious. (Fortunately in Arabic)

See these guys at Al Azhar University may seem like they have too much time on their hands, but in fact they are not sitting around twiddling their thumps; they are working hard on coming up with Fatwas to help Muslims deal with some of the challenges facing them in these challenging times.

إيلاف، المنامة: أثارت فتوى تبيح‮ "إرضاع الكبير" ‬لرئيس قسم الحديث بجامعة الأزهر حالة من اللغط الشديد في‮ ‬الشارع المصري،‮ ‬وجدلاً واسعًا‮ ‬بين علماء دين في‮ ‬مصر،‮ ‬واستفزت الفتوى نحو خمسين ‬نائبًا في‮ ‬البرلمان المصري‮ ‬تدارسوا الموضوع وهددوا بطرحه برلمانيًا.

وكانت الشرارة التي‮ ‬أشعلت الجدل حسب ما نشرته صحيفة الأيام البحرينية في عددها اليوم ما فجره د.عزت عطية رئيس قسم الحديث في كلية أصول الدين في جامعة الأزهر الأسبوع الماضي‮ ‬من مفاجأة حيث أباح للمرأة العاملة أن تقوم بإرضاع زميلها في‮ ‬العمل منعًا ‬للخلوة المحرمة،‮ ‬إذا كان وجودهما في‮ ‬غرفة مغلقة لا‮ ‬يفتح بابها إلا بوساطة أحدهما،‮ ‬وأكد عطية أن إرضاع الكبير‮ ‬يكون خمس رضعات وهو‮ ‬يبيح الخلوة ولا‮ ‬يحرم الزواج،‮ ‬وأن المرأة في‮ ‬العمل‮ ‬يمكنها أن تخلع الحجاب أو تكشف شعرها أمام من أرضعته،‮ ‬مطالبًا‮ ‬توثيق هذا الإرضاع كتابة ورسميًا ‬ويكتب في‮ ‬العقد أن فلانة أرضعت فلانًا‮!‬

إلا أن الشيخ السيد عسكر الوكيل الأسبق لمجمع البحوث الإسلامية،‮ ‬وهي‮ ‬أعلى هيئة فقهية بالأزهر والنائب عن جماعة الإخوان المسلمين بالبرلمان،‮ ‬رفض هذا الرأي‮ ‬مؤكدًا أنه خروج على إجماع علماء الأمة،‮ ‬ولا‮ ‬يجوز القياس على حالة خاصة،‮ ‬مطالبًا ‬بالتصدي‮ ‬لذلك، لأنه‮ ‬يسهم في‮ ‬نشر الرذيلة بين المسلمين‮.‬
