Urgent Message from H.G. Bishop Angelos

01012.jpgDear St. Mark Family,    We don't usually send out messages like this, but this one has been confirmed to be true by the church in England.  Please see the message below from the church in London and check out the website at the bottom for more details:

"A Coptic family who went through divorce in the UK has 3 children.  Because of the court's ruling, social service took the children.  A Muslim Moroccan worker in the social service took the children and placed them in the custody of the city's Mosque without the knowledge of the Church.

The authorities refused to return the children to the Church without a petition signed by at least 10,000 people, from in and out of the UK.  In his last visit to the USA, H.G. Bishop Angelus of the UK confirmed the story and asked every one to do his/her best in this mater.

So far, since 10/2008 until 1/27/2009, only 1720 people signed the petition.

Please go to the link below and sign the petition, and let others sign also.  You will get an e-mail from the Church to confirm your signature.

the social worker abused authority. should be disciplined, even let go.

hopefully the parental desires of Christian parents in Britain have not been made to be second in importance to the intentions of "the mosque."

Dear Friends,
When I read this article, I was greatly offended that something like that could happen in the country that was once Great Britain. How could a muslim worker in a country that has a history steeped in Christianity give himself the right to take christian kids from their parents whether divorced or not, and not only that but dare to send under the care of a mosque without paying any consideration to the fact that these kids have the right to be brought in the church that their parents belong to. the real shameful part of the story is the refusal of the british government to return the kids to the church unless 10,000 people write petitions to regain the kids, as if the kids were an election issue, how shameful that the country of venerable Bede, St Edward the Confessor, St. Thomas more, Charles haddon Spurgeon, Eric Liddell, Queen Elzabeth I and Queen Victoria should degrade to this level of lack of respect to the christian faith that this nation such a great one. I hope that the british authorities would change their position towards the christian community and stop grantng undeserved privileges to the muslim community at the expense of the christian citizen in ths naton that has 1,700 years of Christian history ( History of Salvation). Anyone who would like to know how steeped ths nation in the Christian faith can just read Venerable Bede' Ecclesstical History of the English People. As for the kids may Our Lord and God Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life grant them deliverance from their plight as soon as possible by the intercession of the Ever-Virgin Mother of God and the Great St. George who is by the way the patron saint of the country which was once Christian England.

All blogs concerning to this topics are of my interest, I don't usually meddle with anything about the church or things about it but it's good to be posted and know different opinions from people.
