Islam, or else

0021.jpgChristians in Pakistan face an upswing in violence from militant Muslims | Jamie Dean

A Christian worship service in Pakistan's Muslim-dominated city of Karachi turned frightening when unidentified men burst into Christ Awami Church on New Year's Day, demanding that worship stop. The congregation resisted, and the assailants retaliated: Church members say the men desecrated Bibles and a cross on the wall, destroyed hymnals, smashed windows, and dumped garbage on the church grounds.

The attack wasn't isolated. Christians at two other Protestant churches in the city reported assaults during the same week: Church-goers in the Zia neighborhood said attackers broke the church door, shattered windows, and threw garbage into the church. Congregants in the Golimar community said a group of men threatened them during a Sunday night meeting, but local police intervened.

We, in America should be bringing these faithful Christians in our country for their own protection and the availability of them to teach our citizens what the real truth is about the religion of peace and it's not forcing unbelievers to convert to islam, pay the tax or die for staying faithful to Christ Jesus a main issue on the creation of this country of free speech, freedom of religion and democratic, constitutional protections and rights guarantees. We need to truth to be told here; and they desperately need to protections which our constitution and culture protects and promotes

wileysnakeskins,

Though I do not condone the attacks that happened, I do not exactly agree with what you've said. First off, I don't think that we need to be bringing disadvantaged people into our country: our economy is already burdened enough. Second, our Constitution does not promote Christianity. In fact, it binds our government from establishing one religion over the others. Unfortunately, that rarely ever happens; so, I do agree with you on one point. Our culture protects Christians like they're the heart and soul of our nation.
