Arabs buy New York landmark for $840m
The Abu Dhabi Investment Council had bought the landmark New York skyscraper the Chrysler Building for $US800million ($A839.6million), sources close to the deal said.

Almost half of Egyptian women harassed daily: poll
CAIRO (AFP) - Almost half of Egyptian women are sexually harassed on a daily basis with more than half of Egyptian men admitting lewd behaviour, the Egyptian Centre for Women's Rights said on Thursday.

Yemen: Christian arrests may herald new era of persecution

Three British Muslims admit bid to bomb Heathrow and Commons with liquid explosives
