A Deeper Connection: This Easter Season

medium_Copts_20Discrimination_20161.jpgCBNNews.com - In "A Deeper Connection," Pastor Antonio Briggs from Radical Apostolic Power Ministries speaks on how, during this Easter season, we can deal with the challenges among us.

War, poverty, same sex marriage, global warming are only a few of the challenges our government has yet to find an answer or solution to.

For instance, take a look at the war in Iraq, more than 3,200 U.S. Soldiers killed and another 24,000 seriously wounded

Let's not forget, our home front! Over 70,000 people in our country are homeless, many of them being families. In our nations capitol alone approximately 1 in every 10 citizens has a substance abuse problem.

The list goes on and on with our moral decline and our social woes but there is hope -- and in this Easter season we must remember God has given us Jesus Christ as the ultimate resolution to every concern in our lives.

This weekend as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ consider that it is only through him we are given new life and authority. This same authority given to Adam in genesis 1:28 to subdue and take dominion over the earth was restored to us.

So what do we do with this new authority?

Well, the prophet Isaiah who announces the coming of the king also tells us (in Isaiah 58:1) 'to cry aloud, spare not, lift your voice like a trumpet show my people their transgression. But remember God's purpose is 'that they will become the repairers of the breach and restorers of paths to dwell in!' (verse 12)

How can we manage such a huge problem? Well, Jesus showed us how. He taught us the importance of prayer.

Jesus says in Matthew 6 'Our Father who art in Heaven holy is your name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven! Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.'"

" ... Well, the prophet Isaiah who announces the coming of the king also tells us (in Isaiah 58:1) 'to cry aloud, spare not, lift your voice like a trumpet show my people their transgression. ... "

here is another disturbing liberal artist transgression:

As Michelle points out,
what would the result be if the same 'art' depicted Mohammed instead ?!?

In fact, this may be one of the only recourses to stop anti-Christian blasphemy:

make a parallel exhibit about Mohammed, and then when
all the pc liberals and CAIR cry for it to be removed,
insist that this will be done only when they cry to remove the anti-Christian 'art' as well, and actually do so.
