FRIENDLY MUSLIMS BEFORE A BOMBING PRETEND TO BE PRAYING AT A CAMPSITE

January 19, 2007 -- Gathered at a bucolic campsite in the English countryside, these men appeared for all the world prayful and at peace.
A year later, on July 21, 2005, these same men went on an abortive bomb mission on the London subway and a city bus that could have been on the most sensational terrorist strikes anywhere, prosecutors say.
The first photos of the 20 men and three youths at a terror-training camp in England's lush Lake District were shown yesterday to jurors at the trial of six African immigrants accused of carrying out the botched attacks.
Their five planned strikes were not an impromptu imitation of the bombings two weeks earlier, on July 7, 2005, that killed 52 but had been carefully planned for months, prosecutors said.
And the plot fizzled only because the terrorists botched their bomb recipe of hair bleach and flour, prosecutors said as testimony began in Woolwich Crown Court, London.
The campsite photos were taken after police became suspicious of the men choosing a remote site several hundred yards from the main camping grounds, prosecutors said.
Among the men were five of the defendants now on trial. One was Yassin Omar, 25, a former chemistry student and radical Muslim. He told friends Osama bin Laden had nothing to do with 9/11, but he nevertheless pledged to take part in a jihad.
Omar and two other alleged members of the ring, Adel Yahya, 22, and Muktar Said Ibrahim, 28, attended a mosque in Finsbury Park to listen to extremist cleric Abu Hamza, later convicted of fomenting racial hatred and soliciting murder.
Another alleged plotter was Hussain Osman, 28, who said ring members were inspired by news footage of "Iraqi women and children who had been killed by U.S. and U.K. soldiers

BUFFALO, N.Y. (Crime Library) — After eluding the authorities for more than two decades by pretending to be a church fund-raiser, investigators in Buffalo now allege to have an elusive serial killer behind bars. According to late-breaking reports, the man has been identified as Altemio Sanchez, 48, of Cheektowaga, New York.
The list of Christian serial killers is getting long.

Why are all serial killers Christian? Several say they've been influenced by the bible.
Why has there never been a Muslim or Hindu serialk killer in America or Europe?
