Christian convert killed in J&K
SRINAGAR: Unidentified militants on Tuesday killed a junior engineer of J&K Power Development Department, (PDD) Bashir Ahmad Tantray, who had converted
to Christianity ignoring threats from Islamic radical groups.
Tantray was shot dead in his village Mamoosa in Pattan tehsil of Baramulla district. “Two militants enquired about the public transport system. After that they fired at my cousin,” said Ghulam Rasool Tantray, cousin of the slain.
Bashir Tantray had migrated from his village, years back after he received threats from militant groups. He was staying in Sonawar but he returned to his village on Monday to visit his ailing father.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, north Kashmir range, Mohammad Subhan Lone said they had received reports that Bashir had converted to Christianity in 1995 or 1996. “As far as the motive is concerned, it is being investigated,” he said. Lone said Bashir was buried in his village with Islamic rites. “People offered Nimaz Jinaza. There was no problem,” he said.
This is the first time that a Christian convert has been killed in Kashmir, though there have been attacks on Christian missionary schools in the past. Militants had attacked a Christian missionary school with grenades at Pulwama a few years ago.
Militants triggered a car bomb explosion outside the Burn Hall School in July last year. It was followed by a grenade attack outside the Biscoe School at Lal Chowk in which two women died and several students suffered injuries

People convert from one faith to the other.
It happens. We have little reason to think that violence inspired by Bible will ever cease. One only has to look at the Protestant-Catholic uprising in Ireland...The "Holy" Bible supports the notion of war and destruction, not only as a prophesy but as a moral necessity. If we wish to become a peaceful species, it may well serve us to understand the forces of belief that keep us in continual conflict and why the Bible has such a stronghold on the minds of people around the world.
APOSTASY: " . . neither shall thine eye pity him (the apostate), neither shalt thou spare him, neither shalt thou conceal him: "But thou shalt SURELY KILL HIM: thine hand shall be first upon him TO PUT HIM TO DEATH . . .DEUTERONOMY 13 -8 9

Deuteronomy 13:8-9 belongs to the OLD COVENANT (ie New Testament)
Christians are under the new which Jesus brought:
For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance–now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant. Hbr 9:15 New International Version)
AND IN THE NEW COVENANT/TESTAMENT WE FIND:
But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.( 1Cr 7:15 New International version )
IN ISLAM THOUGH:
"Whoever changes his religion shall be killed", Abu Dawud.
"Kill those who believe in many gods" Sura al-Tawba 9:5
"If a Muslim is found guilty of the crime of apostasy, either through words or through actions, he will be asked to repent during a three day period. If he has not repented within this time limit, he will be sentenced to death as an apostate and his property will be seized by the Revenue office. Every Muslim who refuses to pray will be asked to comply with the obligation to pray within the prescribed time limit. If he persists in his refusal, he will be punished by death." Article 306 of the Mauritanian Constitution

does accepting Islam make you a better person ? could also be asked.
And as one who does not believe in any religion from what I have seen both in the news and in my travels though the middle east and Europe I would say there are more murders by muslims. If one chrisitan kill somebody there is always 10 muslims doing worse. I am not saying anything to back Christianity OR Islam --but judging as an impartial thrid party I would say the muslims have almost cornered the market for violence, especially violence done for their god.

no book is more violent then the "holy" Quran . The Quran is by far the most violent
Qur’an:9:88 “The Messenger and those who believe with him, strive hard and fight with their wealth and lives in Allah’s Cause.”
Qur’an:9:5 “Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.”
Qur’an:9:112 “The Believers fight in Allah’s Cause, they slay and are slain, kill and are killed.”
Qur’an:9:29 “Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender, paying the protective tax in submission.”
Ishaq:325 “Muslims, fight in Allah’s Cause. Stand firm and you will prosper. Help the Prophet, obey him, give him your allegiance, and your religion will be victorious.”
Qur’an:8:39 “Fight them until all opposition ends and all submit to Allah.”
Qur’an:8:39 “So fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief [non-Muslims]) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world).”
Ishaq:324 “He said, ‘Fight them so that there is no more rebellion, and religion, all of it, is for Allah only. Allah must have no rivals.’”
Qur’an:9:14 “Fight them and Allah will punish them by your hands, lay them low, and cover them with shame. He will help you over them.”

My dear Atheist
you must have tried to give Church a second chance only to find yourself an atheist once again. Well, the next time you feel the need to return to God, go to a mosque, take the translation of the Qur'an and read it.
You will discover why missionaries, bishops and preachers are converting, all who have had the temporary lapse of atheism such as yourself.

Darwin's Source of Inspiration: Malthus's Theory of Ruthlessness
Darwin's source of inspiration on this subject was the British economist Thomas Malthus's book An Essay on the Principle of Population. In the 19th century, Malthus's ideas were widely accepted. European upper class intellectuals in particular supported his cruel ideas. His cruel policies stated the weak, and those who lost the struggle for survival would be eliminated, and as a result the rapid rise in population would be balanced out. Humanity has paid a heavy price in the 20th century for the dissemination of these callous views which lead people to acts of ruthlessness and cruelty.

The US [A Christian country] produces more serial killers than any other country. Up to 85% of the world's serial killers are in America. According to an FBI Behavioral Unit study serial killing has climbed to an almost 'epidemic proportion'. At any given time there are an estimated 20 - 50 active serial killers. Those who change their targets, methods, are often never identified. Experts speculate on what happens to unsolved cases of murderers. Some may commit suicide, die, be incarcerated, in mental institutions, relocate, or stopped killing, a few turn themselves in...

There is no question that Jesus approved of killing apostates.....
Also psychics must be put to death. Let us look at Leviticus 20:27 "And as for a man or woman in whom there proves to be a mediumistic spirit or spirit of prediction, they should be put to death without fail. They should pelt them to death with stones. Their own blood is upon them."
The above verses clearly show that the Bible doesn't tolerate apostates. Jesus did honor the Old Testament's laws and ordered his followers to follow the Old Testament until the day of Judgment:
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law (the Old Testament) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke or a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law (the Old Testament) until everything is accomplished. (Matthew 5:17-18)"
Christians always say as an excuse that an Old Testament law does not apply to them. According to Matthew 5:17-18, we clearly see that Jesus honored the Old Testament, and forced Christians to follow the unmodified laws of it that have not been replaced by newer ones in the New Testament. The Old Testament as we clearly see above orders the immediate killing of apostates/renegades. The New Testament as we also clearly see above, orders the death of the apostates/renegades. And according to Matthew 5:17-18 above, apostates/renegades in Christianity must be put to death simultaneously.
Jesus clearly had a problem with them not following the punishment of death for cursing the parents or any punishment of death that is commanded in the OT for this matter! In fact, Jesus himself said:
"Do not think that I [Jesus] have come to abolish the Law (the Old Testament) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke or a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law (the Old Testament) until everything is accomplished. (Matthew 5:17-18)"

pure nonesense if the old testament applied to Chrisitans then christians would be kosher!
Also SAYING chrisitians kill apostates is different then Muslims ACTUALLY KILLING THEM!! which is on the news in muslim lands regularly!
As for "apostate baptist" he reveals by his misquotes that he was never an "apostate" because he was never a "baptist"
There is no greater evil in religion than the evil of Islam!
All I have to do is open the news up and see!

Jesus did fulfill the old law. HE fulfilled it --it was not for us to fulfill it. The interpretion of the christian bible is not for someone who is an apostate. The scriptures meaning can be determined only by those who are faithful christians not unbelievers!
Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, "CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO PERFORM THEM."
Gal 3:11 Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, "THE RIGHTEOUS MAN SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."
Gal 3:12 However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, "HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM."
So Christians are under the New convenant not the old --thats the whole point.
Only believing chrisitians can interpret the scriptures not apostates as it is written
1Cr 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.
For God presented Christ as an atonement for sin by his blood THRU FAITH. (Romans 3:23-25)
Proper Christian doctrine is only determined by beliving christians not by you.

Quran offers salvation for all: 5:16 through which God shows unto all that seek His goodly acceptance the paths leading to Salvation..
Bible only offers salvation for Jews:
"But he (Jesus) answered and said, I am NOT SENT but unto the lost sheep of the HOUSE OF ISRAEL (the Jews only).
